DM: Pathe Ciss – 4/10 – Aerially caught up, but wasn’t advanced enough in possession. It is obvious why, with Senegal behind by two goals, he was removed for the second half.
DM: Nampalys Mendy – 3/10 – Henderson and Bellingham tore it up.
RW: Krepin Diatta – 6/10 – Unlucky to get hooked at halftime, but on the other wing Sarr was much more productive.
AM: Iliman Ndiaye – 5/10 – Drew players in his direction and created space, but lacked subtlety when it counted. 45 minutes later, sacrificed.
LW: Ismaila Sarr – 7/10 – First half was really sharp. intelligently pressed and flung critical passes to his coworkers.
ST: Boulaye Dia – 6/10 – Very unlucky not to have scored in the first half; forced Pickford to make a fantastic save. After the break, he lost steam like the rest of his group.
