Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that the club would not allow Hansi Flick to coach the German national team.
“Letting him go early would be insane. Next season, he will be our head coach. It’s 100 percent,” Rummenigge told Sport1.
“Besides, it was at Bayern that he had his best and most prosperous period as a player. The same can be said of his tenure as a mentor at the club.
I’ve always believed that the coach is the club’s most valuable employee. We have a deal, which is well known. But this isn’t even a topic for debate. The issues of the German Football Association (DFB) will not be answered by us.
To be honest, if I were a coach who was offered a move from Bayern to another club, I would take it.”
