GK: Matt Turner – 7/10 –Made a few significant stops and aided in the swift turnover of the ball, but little could be done to stop the goals.
RB: Sergino Dest – 6/10 –This was essential to his team’s attempts to play out of defense because of his ability to carry the ball forward. Despite being unable to generate much offense, Dest nonetheless put up a respectable performance.
CB: Walker Zimmerman – 6/10 –After recovering from an injury, Zimmerman occasionally appeared out of sync.
CB: Tim Ream – 6/10 – Despite appearing to be at ease on the ball, they were unable to handle the Dutch attack’s ferocity.
LB: Antonee Robinson – 6/10 – Looked dangerous down the left wing and occasionally connected well with Pulisic.
CM: Weston McKennie – 6/10 – Compared to some of his past competitive appearances, he appeared a little leaner.
CM: Tyler Adams – 7/10 – Adams, a shining star for the US, may bank on this performance to round out a strong World Cup for him.
CM: Yunus Munsah – 6/10 – Was unable to aid his team in taking over the midfield.
RW: Timothy Weah – 5/10 – Weah had a rough day since he never seemed to get into the game.
LW: Christian Pulisic – 6/10 – The US needed their top player to perform today, but Pulisic failed to seize his opportunities and was surrounded for the whole of the match.
ST: Jesus Ferreira – 5/10 – Struggled to contribute to the game or hold the ball up for his team in attacking situations. Hooked at the break.
