Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos revealed that he would like to retire at a high level and not from the bench. The German midfielder, who will start his eleventh season at the Santiago Bernabeu after turning 33 in January, just signed a new one-year deal with Real Madrid, although it is widely acknowledged that Kroos is nearing the end of his career. Even though Kroos expressed his anxieties about his body failing him, he claimed that he still had confidence in his talents.
“There are a few of bad instances who just couldn’t quit football and weren’t the player people remembered them as being. I hope that never happens to me,” Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos said. “I believe that this season has progressed similarly to the previous nine in Madrid. Why wouldn’t the next one proceed similarly? I still like playing football, and I want championships.”
Along with fellow veteran Luka Modric, Kroos has been a key member of Real Madrid’s midfield for the past ten years, but Los Blancos have actively worked to renew in that section of the ground recently. This summer, 20-year-old Jude Bellingham, who came from Borussia Dortmund in a move for over €100 million, joined 24-year-old Federico Valverde, 20-year-old Eduardo Camavinga, and 23-year-old Aurelien Tchouameni. Bellingham assumed Zinedine Zidane’s famous number five shirt. Dani Ceballos has also signed a new four-year deal, giving Carlo Ancelotti a total of seven central midfielders to choose from.
Pedro Porro, who is aware of Real Madrid’s interest in Harry Kane, asserts that Kane can play for any side in world football. Each of Porro’s three Premier League assists thus far has gone to Kane, the England captain, who joined Tottenham at the tail end of the January transfer window. The two have a terrific rapport on the pitch.
“He serves as a captain, guide, and leader. He has been providing excellent performances for many years, he exudes charm, and he is now a fan favourite,” Porro said. “No doubt. I have no reason to disbelieve it at all. Apart from his immense skill and his scoring, very few attackers put in the work and defensive dedication like Harry does.”
