Ebanie Bridges believes that Leeds fans are the best in the Premier League. The Australian has grown closer to the Leeds fans after her World title win in March. She battled on the undercard of Josh Warrington who himself reclaimed his featherweight title. Bridges had the Leeds crest on her shorts while wearing purple, similar to the Leeds away kit this season.
“Leeds has the best supporters. Since arriving here, I’ve received a lot of affection from Leeds,” Ebanie Bridges said. “I go out into the community, I collaborate with the people, I attempt to do things. Not only the football team, but the entire city of Leeds is something I adore. I frequently speak on behalf of Leeds and promote them internationally. Anyone who is well-known on a global scale and is able to promote a city.”
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham has compared Bukayo Saka to Lionel Messi as he came off the bench to change the complexion of the game. Up until Southgate made his double substitute to insert Saka and Mason Mount, England had mostly struggled. Despite a few opportunities, nothing was sustained until Germany took the lead shortly after the break thanks to a penalty kick from Ilkay Gundogan.
When Saka stepped foot on the field, the entire game changed. He worked brilliantly with Reece James to set up England’s opening goal, and the Chelsea defender curled a dangerous ball into Luke Shaw’s path to cut the deficit. In order to set up Mount for England’s equalizer, he then went on a crazy dash.
Before the Tottenham goal gave England the lead from the penalty spot, Saka also set up Harry Kane for a golden opportunity that narrowly missed the post. After a Nick Pope error, Havertz would eventually tie the score for the visiting team, although overall, England played better.
