Manchester United want to appoint the head coach that RB Leipzig have just recently sacked, Jesse Marsch. After assigning Ralf Rangnick as their 2021-22 interim manager in transfer news football, Marsch may end up at Manchester United.
RB Leipzig appointed Jesse Marsch as a replacement for Julian Nagelsmann, who moved to Bayern Munich before the 2021-22 season.
But as Leipzig’s new head coach, Marsch managed to pick up just five wins in 14 league games. Indeed, most recently in their Serie A run, Leipzig went down to Union Berlin by a football score of 2-1.
So, Leipzig let their manager go, and then went on to win Tuesday’s Champions League football match against Manchester City.

Jesse Marsch was sacked on Sunday after just four months in charge at RB Leipzig. And the side is currently sitting at 11th place in the table.
Now, newly appointed interim boss, Ralf Rangnick wants Marsch in a coaching role at Old Trafford, according to The Times.
Rangnick has known Marsch since 2015 is ready to offer him a place in the Manchester United backroom team.
After bringing in Chris Armas (official football transfer) and Sascha Lense, Rangnick still wants at least one more coach.
In that case, Marsch would be far cheaper and easier for the German coach to bring in at Old Trafford.
Rangnick first employed Marsch at the New York Red Bulls six years ago. The German gaffer also took the American to Leipzig to act as his assistant.
