PSG striker Kylian Mbappe could play in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City. Due to a calf muscle injury, the 22-year-old forward missed Saturday’s French league game against Lens (2-1). Today, Le Parisien released a video of the player. Kylian Mbappe Joins The PSG Flying Squad
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe was seen limping when he joined the traveling squad. The squad was for Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City.
Mbappe is a doubt for PSG after missing their Ligue 1 victory over Lens due to a calf injury. After the game, manager Mauricio Pochettino said that no decision had been made on Mbappe. but that they were optimistic he could play the second leg at City.
However, a video posted on social media of Mbappe leaving a club bus and entering the airport to travel to Manchester shows the World Cup winner visibly limping as he walks past photographers.
Meanwhile, Idrissa Gueye has remained with the squad. He was suspended for the second leg after receiving a red card last week. PSG attempts to avenge a 2-1 home loss. They must score at least twice to have a chance of making the final. This would be for the second time in a row. Juan Bernat is one of nine unavailable players.
