Zinedine Zidane is determined to finish the season with silverware after having returned to group training this week for Real Madrid.
This week the Madrid head coach led sessions at Valdebebas, with players able to resume small numbers of group workouts.
It is expected that the 2019-20 La Liga season, which due to the coronavirus pandemic was suspended in March, will be able to get back on track next month, with President Javier Tebas aiming for a return on June 12.
Madrid went into the enforced break two points behind Barcelona leaders, but if the campaign can resume, Zidane is focused on making the title race a fight.
The French coach told Real Madrid TV that this week, the team looked better and next week is going to be a lot better. We can work more in small groups. We can work tactically, technically, and physically. This week has been very good for them.

The french Coach finds things good. He says that the team needs to think positively because they are lucky to be back at work. The players are happy and think that they need to make most of it now to enjoy it.
The coach is getting the team ready to finish the season strongly as they have got eleven matches left.
He added saying that in the end it is important to win something by giving up everything. It is in the DNA of Real Madrid to win things out.
“I’m happy to work with my players again. It’s the most important thing after 60 days. We ‘re all happy to be back in Valdebebas. We’ve planned a way to work with the fitness coaches and the players are also happy to be able to train, be together and enjoy doing what they like, which is playing soccer.”
Zidane ‘s words of warning to Barcelona echo the call for Madrid’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to “keep battling” for the crown.
