By the end of the first half, Son could have doubled the advantage of the Spurs but De Gea defended brilliantly and threw him into the corner.

As predicted, United was more aggressive in the second half, more offensive, but Mourinho’s Tottenham held smart on the field, and he also had the help of a well-disposed Lloris, who stopped everything heading to his goal.
But, in the 81st minute, Dier hid a penalty over Pogba, and as usual, Bruno Fernandes was a sure 1:1 scorer. Drama in the 90th minute, when the guests were awarded another penalty, Dier was again the guilty but this time VAR saved Tottenham, and the decision of the referee was reversed, so the teams were pleased with one point each.
It’s important to note that after a long time Harry Kane has played one official match for Tottenham, now only eighth with 42 points and United fifth with 46 points, and the Red Devils will continue the chase for places leading to the Champions League.
