The outbreak of the novel coronavirus, which killed more than 209,000 people worldwide as of April 27, has affected sporting events across the globe. Sports bodies have canceled or postponed competitions as the virus spreads across the globe. Despite sporting competitions postponed all over the world due to the coronavirus pandemic, football clubs and leagues negotiated salary cuts despite players to help them make it through the crisis.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a football event was interrupted on March 13.

The BBC announced on Monday that Premiership clubs expect to start on June 8 and end up in July.
The Premier League launches its “Restart Initiative” this week according to which clubs will return to full training by May 18, enabling them to resume the competition 20 days later.
On Friday, all the clubs will meet to discuss the requirements for returning to the competition, which was disrupted on 13 March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The meeting will determine which stadiums will be able to play the remaining 92 games by the end of the season, but it is expected there will be no fans in the stands, so they will be able to watch over the small screens for free.
However, the British government must provide the final word on the continuation of the Premier League, which has introduced five steps that must be met, one of which is improved coronavirus monitoring.
What do you think about the resume of the Premier League? Do you think that the League should start from Mid-June or should wait till the situation is under control?
