Only a few hours after the French government announced that the world is facing coronavirus pandemic, the French championship will not be possible until September, which means it was canceled this season, the question was what would happen to the appearances of the PSG Champions League.
For RMC Sport, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi said that he respected the competent authorities’ decision but would demand that the French champion proceeds on his way to the Champions League, even if he had to play home games outside France.

“We honor the French authorities’ decision. We plan to continue participating in the Champions League final, in agreement with UEFA, at the time and place where it will be organized. If it is not possible to play in France, it will be ours to play matches abroad, with the assurance that we will put our players and all employees in the best possible health conditions,’ Al Khela said.
PSG eliminated Borussia in the eighth Dortmund finals, positioned among the eight best teams in Europe where Atalanta, RB Leipzig, and Atletico Madrid are still standing before the four finals of the eighth-finals are ended. The draw for the quarter-finals was postponed to a further date.
