According to club owner Massimo Cellino, in-demand talent Sandro Tonali will not depart Brescia as part of a player swap deal.
The 20-year-old midfielder was at Barcelona and PSG’s sights, while the Italian giants Juventus and Inter are also firmly in the chase. Cellino revealed that Tonali is keen to stay in his home country, giving Juve and Inter a boost to their hopes to snatch Italy inter
He noted, however, that Brescia was keen for Tonali ‘s financial remuneration and would prefer not to obtain any players in exchange.
“There’s been only a few phone calls so far, but nothing after that. After all, that’s happened, it’s hard to think about [the transfer market], but I hope the lad keeps having fun on the field as he did before. I wouldn’t like to see all these rumors lead to another issue that hurts our chances of staying up. Inter and Juve, as have other teams, have told me about him. What’s for sure is that the player wants to stay in Italy and we’re going to accommodate him. I don’t like swap deals. We ‘re not desperate for thatCellino told Gr Parlament.

Tonali, who played a key role in last season’s Series B promotion for Brescia, has again starred at the club despite his position at the bottom of Serie A.
In October of last year, he received his first Italian cap against Liechtenstein and subsequently played twice as much for his national team.
Speaking earlier this month, Cellino revealed Barcelona’s and PSG’s particular interest in Tonali and also talked about Napoli and Fiorentina offers.
“PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants him in Paris, he wrote to me today, but Tonali doesn’t want to go to France,” Cellino told Corriere Dello Sport.
