Samuel Eto’o congratulated Arturo Vidal, whose deal expires in 2021 and agreed to leave Barcelona this summer.
Samuel Eto’o once again spoke about the current situation at FC Barcelona. If yesterday he threw a great cape at another ‘top’ striker like Luis Suárez when they asked the Cameroonian about the possible signing of Lautaro Martínez, he complimented Arturo Vidal.
Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o has announced he wants to see Arturo Vidal finish his career in the capital of Catalonia.

During an interview with journalist Enzo Olivera on the CDF system in Chile, he said: “I am happy because Arturo Vidal is in Barcelona. As a fan of Barcelona, I want the best in the team and he is one of the best in his place in the world. Vidal is a different warrior, a different player. He gives every last drop of blood when you enter the field that you can see he is there. I hope he will spend his entire career at Barca, honestly. Arturo has the spirit, the paw, he has his personality and, if he is near or away, he brings the companions to have the leadership he has. And this you are born to have or not.”
In the summer of 2021, Vidal’s Barcelona contract expires, and several clubs are already linked to make a bid for him.
It remains uncertain whether the Blaugrana would extend its stay beyond that year. So far this season the Chilean has made 31 appearances, scoring six and setting up 3.
