Roma is linked to Bologna’s full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu, but the € 20 m asking price could prevent an international push for Japan.
Tomiyasu was a revelation at the Rossoblu and having transferred from Belgian side Sint-Triuden for €9 m last summer, he was linked to a third shift in as many years this summer.
The right-back played 20 Series A games, adding two assists in the process and agreeing on a five-year contract on his arrival last July at the Dall’Ara.
The Gazzetta Dello Sport claims that Roma admires the international Japan, which his country has capped 18 times, but would need to accommodate for a transfer to materialize.
Reportedly, the Giallorossi would have trouble finding a new employer for Juan Jesus due to the high salary of the Brazilian and may have to split ways with both him and 34-year-old Aleksandar Kolarov, who recently extended his contract at the Olimpico until June 2021, to accommodate the talented player from Bologna.
