Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO of RB Leipzig, has revealed that no contact has yet been established with Chelsea over Timo Werner.
Frank Lampard ‘s side is on the verge of completing a move with the Blues ready to activate its release clause for the 24-year-old.
With Werner, who will sign a five-year contract in West London, Chelsea has agreed personal terms.

Blues chiefs were confident they had sealed the German striker’s signing in a move that cost £106million in total.
Speaking ahead of Leipzig ‘s home league match against Paderborn with Sky Germany, Mintzlaff denied any contact.
Oliver Mintzlaff, supreme Leipzig, said: “We have not yet had an exchange with Chelsea.
“Timo Werner has not drawn the clause so far — nor has a club been sending a transfer agreement. We have nothing to report, and we don’t participate in everyday speculation.”
Chelsea can reach Werner’s £54 m release clause for Leipzig, 24, and the star himself is believed to have signed a £52 m, a five-year deal worth £200,000 a week with the Blues.
But Leipzig’s managing director Mintzlaff, who is overseeing the brand’s clubs around the world as Red Bull Global Head of Soccer, told Sky Sports Germany: “Timo Werner is a player for RB Leipzig.
This does not come as a surprise with the Blues even having to negotiate with the German club because they still have to trigger the release clause of Werner officially. Chelsea sent Lampard and technical director Petr Cech to Germany to convince Werner to make the move, although there were also extensive talks over the phone.
The deal is set to be revealed shortly after Werner has been able to obtain a medical examination ahead of his planned move to Stamford Bridge.
