Liverpool’s official website states that team defender Nathaniel Clyne will be leaving the team at the end of this month.
After his move from Southampton in 2015, Clyne will leave for Liverpool after making 103 appearances over five years.
Following a promising start to his career in Anfield, injuries hindered the reign of the 29-year-old at the club, restricting him to just 10 appearances for the Reds in the past three campaigns.
Clyne, who has 14 England caps, spent six months in the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Bournemouth, making 14 appearances for the Cherries.
After agreeing not to extend the deal for the right-back, Liverpool said: “Everyone at Liverpool Football Club would like to thank Nathaniel for his service and wish him all the best for his future career.”
Liverpool has announced that many players from the academy would leave the club at the end of June, beginning with Dan Atherton, Isaac Christie-Davies, Shamal George, Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Jack Walls, Alex Turner, and Abel Rodrigues.
