As a January transfer window without any transactions, Milan has no intention of staying even in the summer, and Massimiliano Mirabelli, sports director, is already searching for possible targets across Europe.
AC Milan is planning a cut-price deal for Lyon striker Memphis Depay according to TuttoMercatoWeb. Milan plans to join Olympique Lyon winger Memphis Depay in a €20 million cut-price contract, says Tuttomercatoweb. According to the Italian post, the deal is worth €20 million plus a percentage of any future transfer fees.
The Dutch international is entering the final year of his contract with Lyon and has so far declined any bid of a new deal.

Memphis’ chances of staying in Lyon have also been affected by the fact that next season Lyon won’t be taking part in Europe. PSG has already been linked to a move forward, although according to TuttoMercatoWeb, AC Milan is preparing an offer.
For a moment, the Series A side had their sights on Memphis and saw a chance to sign him for a cheaper price. An offer of €20 million is reportedly ready for sale.

The 26-year-old Dutch international is currently out of action after a torn anterior cruciate ligament but will be able to return next season. His contract with Lyon expires in June 2021 and is unlikely to be renewed, particularly as early termination of League 1 means that the club will not qualify for Europe. It will be a bargain for Milan as Depay’s asking price was not 50 million as so long ago.
He came through the PSV Eindhoven Academy, moved to Manchester United in 2015, and was sold to Lyon in January 2017.
Depay had an impressive season before his injury, scoring 14 goals in 18 competitive games, including five in five appearances in the Champions League.
