Kai Havertz will make Liverpool better, says Dietmar Hamann, but Manchester United is perceived to be the Premier League side most in “need” to make a deal for the starlet of Bayer Leverkusen.
With the Bundesliga taking center stage in Europe in recent weeks, being the first to return to a global audience amid the coronavirus pandemic, a twenty-year-old playmaker performed.
Of course, Havertz was catching his attention with his stock continuing to grow into the next transfer window.
Many heavyweight outfits are said to be mulling over offers for Germany international, with many saying he tops the likes of Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner when it comes to the best players on the Bundesliga market currently open.

Hamann is among those who hold that view, with the former midfielder from Liverpool expecting a lot of interest from England to be seen in Havertz.
He told Sky Sports: “I think he’s going to be interested in a lot of Premier League clubs, he’s a terrific player and there’s not much better around right now. If you look at Manchester United, it’s really obvious they ‘re going to need new staff, so I think it’s going to change pretty much every team. Liverpool’s a little different in how they set up and play, but after that, I think he’s improving every team.”
Although implying that one of his former clubs may be keen to take Havertz, Hamann insists that another – Bayern Munich – will be considered favorites when European competition returns to win the Champions League crown.
He said of a side that now sits seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table: “This season they have a pretty high quality, they have suffered under the old manager a little bit, but with the new one, Hansi Flick, he has them playing again.
