According to news, Jurgen Klopp has talked to Kalidou Koulibaly about a potential move to Liverpool. It is confirmed that the German manager talked to Koulibaly over the phone and spent time with the Napoli defender setting out his plans for next year to 18 months. He outlined how Koulibaly, along with Virgil van Dijk, would fit into his defense.
The 28-year-old has been targeted in recent months by likes from Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. But according to French outlet Le10 Sport, with the call, Liverpool stole a march on them-with the defender flattered by the interest.
Liverpool is reportedly willing to pay €60 m ( £ 53.48) and one of their players to allow Napoli to cash in on Kalidou Koulibaly, the defender.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to have already had personal talks about a summer transfer with the Senegal international.
During his six years at Napoli, Koulibaly was linked to numerous clubs, but the asking price of nearly €100 m for the Serie A outfit has often put off other teams.
Nonetheless, by offering a player-plus-cash deal, Emanuele Cammaroto of Napoli Magazine has reported that Liverpool has found a way around the problem.
Divock Origi is believed to be the man with whom Klopp is willing to part company to smooth out a deal for Koulibaly, ensuring the Reds are worth him at over £40 m. The local rivals of Liverpool Manchester City and Manchester United were both tipped to move to Koulibaly.
