German winger Leroy Sane (24) is determined to leave Manchester City and continue his career in Bayern this summer.
Sane ‘s contract with Manchester City expires in June 2021, and German media claim to have already agreed with Bayern, even agreeing to a 30 percent lower salary.
Sane will sign a five-year deal with Bayern and should earn €9 million a season instead of €13 million, which is slightly less than Robert Lewandowski, who earns € 15 million.
Now it remains up to Manchester City and Bayern to agree on the compensation amount. The city requested 100 million euros last summer, but the circumstances are now significantly different.
Sana hasn’t played at all this season because of a knee injury and has only recently recovered.

Manchester City also needs to sell some of the players to meet financial fair play conditions, and consideration should be given to the deteriorating financial situation in European football due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to German Media, therefore, Bayern claims that compensation of EUR 40 million is a fair sum.
Bayern Munich will be challenged at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday (3:30 p.m. in the LIVE-TICKER). Kai Havertz is again in the focus before the afternoon meeting, which should tend to be transferred to the German champions despite big competition. Säbener Straße is persuaded, as English media reports, to secure the 20-year-old ‘s services in summer.
Bayern Munich is believed to have won in Bayer Leverkusen ‘s search for Kai Havertz. The German record champion is convinced, as the British daily The Independent reports, of outperforming European competition in summer. The 20-year-old ‘s transfer is set to be sealed in the weeks ahead.
Besides FC Bayern, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid are also looking at Havertz, who is currently moving to Munich. Accordingly, the discussions with the Bundesliga’s league leaders are already more advanced than with other interested parties.
