Barcelona is very close to reaching an agreement on Lautar Martinez’s move from Inter Milan, says Catalan Sport reports.
Lautaro Martinez is moving closer to becoming a Barca player: he is the major business target of the Barca club and as such, the management of sports and the directive has placed all their energies into negotiating with the Inter.
The discussions are so advanced that there is already a principle of understanding between the two clubs, according to which Lautaro will be from Barca in exchange for 60 million euros and the move from the Barca squad of two footballers.

Despite a deal until 2023, the 22-year-old Argentine forward wants to sign with Barca and has already told Inter members that Barca is his priority. His deal with Inter includes a special clause: he may be moved to another club with a payment of 111 million euros within the fifteen days of next July.
The new bid, which has greatly warmed Nerazzure, is according to their knowledge a financial one of €60 million, with two more football players switching from Camp Nou to Giuseppe Meazza.

Although the Argentine striker has a €111 million option, it is almost likely that Barcelona will not be able to pay, under all of these conditions, and Nerazzurri will probably consider this sort of collaboration, money and many players in return for their main striker.
Lautaro has an exclusive contract with Inter until summer 2023 and has been brought in from Racing for €22.5 million.
At the beginning of April, a source said Martinez’s priority is to join Barcelona, though the club has him on their wish list too. The coronavirus has however affected any future contract
