Talented fellow Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland has tipped Giovanni Reyna on big stuff.Erling Haaland believes Borussia Dortmund’s team-mate Giovanni Reyna, whom he calls the ‘American Dream,’ has a huge future ahead of him.
Reyna got his first Bundesliga start on Saturday against RB Leipzig and won first aid in the competition by teeing up Haaland in a 2-0 win for the opener. In the second-half stoppage time, Haaland doubled his tally, ensuring that Dortmund finishes the season as runners-up to Bayern Munich.
Asked for his thoughts on Reyna, international Norway said to bundesliga.com: “I used to call him the American Dream, and that’s true. He is 17 years old and it’s amazing what he does on the pitch. He’s got a huge future ahead of him.”

Reyna said: “It was my first start, which I was really happy with. To secure second place was a big three points, so we’re all very happy.”
Since arriving from Salzburg in January Haaland has scored 13 goals in 14 Bundesliga games. He also set a new club record for goals scored in Dortmund in a single season, with Favre ‘s men in 33 matches hitting the back of the net 83 times.
Haaland added”We have a lot of good-quality players and we know we can build a lot of chances when we get to play well together. It’s an incredible win. We knew Leipzig is a good team but we’re also a good team. Winning Bayern is s * * * of course, but that’s how it is now and we’ve got to make the best of it. Now we’ve won the second position and we’re going to try to get as close to them as we can.”
Dortmund host Hoffenheim next Saturday in their final game of the season.
