Manchester United will pick up Jadon Sancho and give him their No.7 jersey, says Rio Ferdinand, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer urging Kalidou Koulibaly and Saul Niguez to move on as well.
Movements are planned at Old Trafford’s next transfer window, with the Red Devils having money to invest.
When asked who he would like to get in: “Sancho, Koulibaly and Saul Niguez,” former United defender Ferdinand told Radio 5 Live’s 606 Savage Social podcast.
Ferdinand added: “Yes, I ‘d give Sancho No 7, he’s this character type. He ‘s got an arrogance about him, they ‘d embrace that on a football pitch, that’s what you want. So yes, I would give it to him and put that straight pressure on his shoulders!”
For United to deliver on Ferdinand ‘s advice it will take an enormous spending spree.
Captain Aston Villa Jack Grealish and playmaker Leicester James Maddison have been linked with moves to Manchester for a long time, while Tottenham striker Harry Kane saw a surface of speculation on a potential transfer of £ 200 million.
However, Ferdinand suggests that the first addition the Red Devils are searching for will be the England international winger Sancho.

At Borussia Dortmund, the 20-year-old forward has shone in Germany and is considered ready for the opportunity of standing in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Eric Cantona at the Theater of Dreams.
The suggestion has been that it will take up to £ 100 m ($123 m) to prize Dortmund’s Sancho.
Napoli ‘s center-half Koulibaly already has a strong price tag on his shoulders, with Liverpool promising to be in the international Senegal mix, while Atletico Madrid has no intention of leaving Spain ‘s international midfielder Saul.
Major deals will test the resolve of those wanting to maintain coveted asset services, with it being up to the Red Devils board to decide how competitive they want to be while the market is reopening.
