During this summer transfer market, Chelsea is willing to sell N’Golo Kante’s to fund any further signatures. The French World Cup winner has been a key player since joining the Blues from Leicester, but his future at the club is in danger. The Times reports that if Frank Lampard wants to make additional additions with Kai Havertz being targeted, then Kante is one of the players who might be able to leave.
a bankrolling move is already planned by Roman Abramovich for Timo Werner (£53million) from RB Leipzig and Hakim Ziyech (£36.6 m) from Ajax.
And it was told Lampard that this summer, sales will have to finance any more key revenues.
It may come as a shock however that Kante is one of the players in the chopping block.
The 29-year-old has to go along with other at-risk people like Marcos Alonso, Baba Rahman, Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Michy Batshuayi. Being the Premier League winner, he has been a stalwart at Stamford Bridge since he signed Leicester back in 2016.
Chelsea remains interested in Bayer Leverkusen star Havertz but it’s known that the German prefers a move to Real Madrid, priced at about £ 75 m. He has 15 goals and 8 assists this season and is already one of Germany’s main players.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool and both the Manchester clubs are also closely monitoring the situation.
