Spain In an attempt to combat the coronavirus pandemic, Barcelona has reportedly drawn up plans to shutter Camp Nou for another 10 months.
In Spain the COVID-19 outbreak was especially severe, with nearly 21,000 people infected by respiratory diseases.
No football has been played in La Liga since early March, and the season will not begin until the earliest June.
Barca is now banking on a worst-case situation, according to Catalan daily La Vanguardia, which will see them play behind closed doors until February 2021.
The same article indicates that between 15 August and 15 September the Spanish champions are still betting for a month-long transfer window.
Last month, La Liga president Javier Tebas warned that Spanish football could lose up to €1bn (£882 m) as a result of the pandemic.
