Sheffield United picked up their first victory since the Premier League ‘s return when they delivered a highly promising display against Tottenham to keep their hopes of playing European football alive next season.

Tottenham, who after 2009 did not finish out of the top six, is Wolves’ seventh, seven-point adrift.
