According to the news in Germany, Bayern Munich launched a £35 m bid for Leroy Sane after agreeing to a five-year contract with the Manchester City star.
Last summer, Calm, 24, had a close link with the German side as Bayern was searching for new replacements for Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. But Bayern was dealt a big blow in their pursuit of the City star after sustaining cruciate ligament damage last August in his side’s Community Shield victory over Liverpool.

The German daily Bild notes that the leaders of the Bundesliga have reignited their interest in the 24-year-old German winger and have already negotiated with him on terms.
Bayern is aiming to keep the price small for Stable, whose current contract expires in 2021, and has opened its bid with £35 million. It is estimated that Bayern Munich approached Manchester City with a 35 million euro offer for Leroy Sane.

As it stands German will be out of work next season at Etihad Stadium. In the run-up to the 2019-20 campaign, Stable had been inclined to move to the Allianz Arena but the planned switch collapsed by the time the attacker suffered a severe knee injury.
However, Bayern continues to be linked with the 24-year-old, and, according to Bild, the Bundesliga champions made a £35 m offer ahead of the transfer window this summer.
The study claims that the German outfit has already negotiated with Stable on personal terms and now plans to deliver it significantly less than the amount of £88 m quoted last summer.
The forward scored 39 times and registered 45 assists for the English champions in 134 appearances, after joining Schalke 04 ahead of the 2015-16 season.
