Sevilla and Barcelona met without goals at the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in the match of the 30th round of the Spanish football championship. With this result, Barca opened Real Madrid’s chance to reach the Catalan giants with a victory over Real Sociedad.
From the first minute, Barcelona pressed Seville, but in the 11th minute the home team had the first real chance in the game but Kounde shot next to the goal. Messi threatened from a free-kick ten minutes later but without changing the result.
In the first half of the 25th minute, when Suarez shot and goalkeeper Vaclik refused the ball, Barca had the best chance, but Braithwaite failed to manage the continuation.
